Loading ...This video is a cover of one of the best Metallica songs ever written (though respect has steadily declined since Guitar Hero 3 got is grubby hands on it, letting anyone who can press five buttons think that they can play real guitar), arguably aside from Fade to Black (which is one of the best musically written songs ever) and Master of Puppets itself. Sadly enough, this cover does it little justice. It seems that during the opening solo the guitarist cuts away from the rhythm duties too quickly to get into the opening solo, which makes it sound terribly jagged. The guitar is terrible out of tune and for the bulk of the song you can’t hear the actual guitar over the song being played in the background. Finally, the solo is very sloppy and he obviously wasn’t ready to bring it to Youtube yet. All of the parts are there and it seems like he knows it, which is a great start, but he needs more practice to nail it and tune his guitar.
