Paper Trail: Platinum even before its release?
Down south there is a new era of rap forming from the heart of Atlanta. Clifford Harris aka T.I. has been on a tear through the rap industry since the release of his third album Trap Muzik in 2003. T.I. has recently been climbing up the Top 100 rap songs of many different web sites including the popular iTunes Store produced by Apple. With a soon to be released new album named Paper Trail, T.I. will be making another push for rap supremacy amongst the likes of Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West. There have been five singles released from Paper Trail all have been a huge success to what seems like another platinum album for the “King of the South.”
Paper Trail which is set to be released on September 30, 2008 is the six album produced by arguably one of the most success rappers or today. It has also been confirmed by T.I. himself that there will be special appearances by Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Fall Out Boy, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz, The Dream, and John Legend on the album. As the album sits today there is a confirmed fifteen tracks with an astonishing fifty that were recorded for the CD. Among the singles released “Whatever You Like” jumped from the 71st position to the 1st position in one week on the Billboard Hot 100. That is the fastest recorded jump on a highly popular list of music from all genres. Keep your eye out for what is sure to be one of the most popular albums for months to come!
